HIPKIDS / VOICES CHORUS
Hip Kids and Voices enrollment is now available for Spring 2020! Our 15 week program is an all immersive singing group dedicated to the musical exposure of pop performance amongst teenagers and youngsters. Under the guidance of Victor Cervantes, Program Director and Creator, students learn to craft and perform an entire pop choir performance featuring duets, solos and full choir opportunities that challenges each student's individual musical ability. Hip Kids and Voices will integrate even more master workshops and training courses to help students sharpen their live performance experience and their ability to command the big stage! As always, we ask for parent and family cooperation in making these two vocal ensembles the best they can be!
HIPKIDS
Mainly for third-to-fifth graders, HipKids Chorus is a vocal performance group open to all who have a desire to sing. From first-time beginners, to performers with a couple seasons of experience, HipKids Chorus is about having FUN singing in a variety of styles, from kids’ favorite pop hits, to classic rock and Motown.
VOICES
An award-winning performing group for teens and 'tweens with high hopes in the arts. Inspired by popular shows such as Glee, X-Factor, and Idol, VOICES offers training in pop and Broadway performance, including vocal coaching, audition technique, and stage movement. This is a fun, creative group of kids who value music, and work to perfect their vocal and stage skills.
SOLO OPPORTUNITIES
Both HipKids and VOICES singers are encouraged to audition for solo pieces, selected by the directors, to perform at the Solo Recital and at the Group Concert. These performers will have the opportunity to perform with a backing band including some of San Francisco's finest working professional musicians.Performers wishing to select and prepare their own pieces may perform on the Solo Recital.

Class 2 - Full group rehearsal, How to choose a solo song?

Class 3 - Split rehearsal (Voices and HK separately), listen to and read through all songs, submit small group song selections

Class 4 - Split rehearsal (sectionals)
